After a long silence for the Malian authorities about what is happening in Menaka, the Malian Minister of National Reconciliation, Colonel Ismail wageu, visited Ménaka, where in recent months many massacres have been committed against civilians.
The Minister met with the governor of the state, civil society and the Azawad movements that signed the Algiers Agreement before heading to the camp for the displaced, who are present in large numbers in Menaka.
This visit comes at a time when Ménaka State is witnessing unprecedented violence against civilians
