Information note
A patrol of the MSA-GATIA coalition hooked EIGS terrorists north of the locality of Anouzagrene about thirty kilometers from Anderamboukane (Ménaka region) and in Essel and Oudeina (commune of Talataye, Ansongo) respectively September 3 and 2, 2022.
The result of this clash is 7 dead on the EIGS side, rolling stock, weapons and ammunition recovered. Side friend no loss.
Cattle belonging to civilians murdered in recent months by DAESH have also been recovered.
A terrorist caught alive in the fighting.
Coalition patrols will continue in Ménaka and Gao to harass DAESH terrorists and track them down to their last entrenchments.
